Alay Kumar Barah, Reach India’s Chief Executive Officer, joined Freedom from Hunger in 2005. Mr. Barah has 18 years of experience in the areas of livelihood, microfinance operations, relief and rehabilitation for disaster-affected communities, project management, planning and coordination, and resource mobilization.  He currently heads, coordinates and manages the activities of the Reach India team.  For Reach India, Mr. Barah is developing and growing a network of low-cost, high-quality service centers for self-help promoting institutions. Mr. Barah also provides microfinance and education-related technical assistance and training directly to self-help promoting institutions.
